About Me
- Name: Amy
- Location: Lehi, Utah
I'm a girl with lots of interests, who probably tends to talk about her daughter a little too much. I'm expecting my second child, a boy, at the end of June, so lately I've been spending a lot of time getting fatter and fatter and trying to wait patiently for him to get here. I've also been nesting (shopping) like crazy, so if I drive you crazy with my shopping stories, I apologize. It will all be over soon!

To be a saint is the exception; to be upright is the rule. Err, falter, sin, but be upright. From: Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

That's not failure, I often wish there were healthy, cheap choices. I love to feed the kids in the car. No thought, no preparation, and something crossed off the list before we get home. I don't do it often but I would if I could.
I wouldn't say failure- kids like hotdogs and pizza. Mya sees the hotdogs on that big sign and I dread the time when I can't talk her out of veering over there. I have yet to eat there or even grab a snack and it just grosses me out. Maybe it isn't all that bad though and I should take the easy way out sometimes. I say good for you- one less thing to do for the night!
I so know what you mean. there is something about it. I don't flinch going through McDonalds, but when I buy a hot dog from there, I feel like the mother who can't pull herself together. The shame
But it is totally ok to get the popcorn combo! Who can resist a peaceful shopping trip for only $1? I know I can't!
We often get the popcorn combo, but have yet to actually eat real food there. I say whatever works is fine.
I am cracking up. I love it. I must admit we don't really ever eat there, but I am always suckered into their slushy drinks!
In my defense, though you guys have been very supportive, our Target does have a Pizza Hut--we had pizza. So I didn't feed her anything that we couldn't have ordered and delivered to our door. But still, it's embarrassing when you're the only one in the snack bar!
Popcorn combo? I'll have to look into that... if I could even get my kids to eat hot dogs and pizza, I'd stop there. Yep, it's that bad.
no i haven't done it, but they just opened a new one near by and it does have pizza hut! sometimes I just don't know what to feed them! crazy
We stopped by the snack bar for what was supposed to be just a drink treat and ended up getting pretzels, cinnamon roll and popcorn.
No one complained about being hungry later in the day so I called it dinner!
My kids thought it was the coolest dinner of their lives. Not a bad mom, just inventive, they can have broccoli tomorrow. :)
