OK, hopefully this isn't TMI (too much information) but today, as I was brushing Kaitlin's hair she grabbed my shirt to look at my breasts. She said, very lovingly, I might add, "Mom's boobs!" Then, stroking them (above the shirt!), yes, you read correctly, she said, "Mommy has boobs so she can feed Alexander." What in the world?

Ok first that is the most adorable picture I have EVER seen. I had pull myself away from it to actually read your post.
How sweet of K! I love it when our children show us how smart they are and show us the world in a new and wonderful way. How simply and well put that is. Too bad most of America doesn't see womens breasts in the same light and breastfeeding can be such an issue.
Did you hear/see the BabyTalk cover with the baby breastfeeding and all the trouble it caused?
Leah can not do sentences like that, but when she sees me feeding Hannah, she says "baby eat" or "babys milk"...she still won't call Hannah by her name. Hannah is Baby or Sissy according to Leah.
Great picture! What a funny story. I remember Landon being fascinated by my "boo boos" when I used to nurse Whitney too.

how funny! I also agree that is an adorable picture :)
That is the cutest picture. My kids did the same thing. The older ones actually were quite appauled that I fed the baby with my boobs. Kinda funny when you look back at it.
She is so stinkin' cute. Mya thinks boobs are cool and asks if she can have some. Yeah...I don't know what is going to happen when she thinks I am sharing them with a baby sibling and not her...eeek
Too cute, I love the things that kids say and how their little minds make sense of things. She's a doll.
That photo is too cute! Man, she's got some eyes on her. She is smart as a whip! I still occasionally catch Lucas trying to give my boobs a pat. I guess they must be pretty intriguing to someone who doesn't have any!
I'm not looking forward to nursing this new one now that my boys are a little more aware of the world. I'm sure that we'll have fabulous conversations.
